Come follow Me...

A Divine Romance

Consecrated Life is not a career or a job that we choose; It is a call within the heart to a Divine Romance!

Are you searching for a community where you may give yourself totally to Jesus? A Franciscan vocation is a call to serve God in simplicity and joy of heart. By the vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience our hearts are set free of earthly attachments so that we are able more easily to concentrate on living the Gospel as exemplified in the joy-filled life of our Seraphic Father Francis.

Perhaps you are being called to spend your life adoring Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist, following the Little Way of the Divine Child Jesus. Our Lord is calling out to our hearts, saying “Behold This Heart which has loved men so much!” He is waiting for our response.

Ask Our Lady, Mother of the Eucharist to guide you to the place in which you can become holy.  If you feel you might have a vocation to our contemplative Community, please write and tell us about yourself.

“For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! Plans to give you a future full of hope.”   Jeremiah 29:11

“To FALL IN LOVE with God is the greatest romance;

to seek him the greatest adventure;

to find him, the greatest human achievement.”

In order to begin your new life with Jesus...

The consecrated life, deeply rooted in the example and teaching of Christ the Lord, is a gift of God the Father to his Church through the Holy Spirit. By the profession of the evangelical counsels the characteristic features of Jesus-the chaste, poor and obedient one-are made constantly "visible" in the midst of the world and the eyes of the faithful are directed toward the mystery of the Kingdom of God already at work in history, even as it awaits its full realization in heaven.

In every age there have been men and women who, obedient to the Father's call and to the prompting of the Spirit, have chosen this special way of following Christ, in order to devote themselves to him with an "undivided" heart (cf. 1 Cor 7:34). Like the Apostles, they too have left everything behind in order to be with Christ and to put themselves, as he did, at the service of God and their brothers and sisters. In this way, through the many charisms of spiritual and apostolic life bestowed on them by the Holy Spirit, they have helped to make the mystery and mission of the Church shine forth, and in doing so have contributed to the renewal of society.

The Evangelical Counsels

Desiring to embrace a poor, chaste, and obedient life in imitation of Jesus Who is the Way, the members willingly undertake a life of radical and continuous conversion as demanded by the Gospel, specified in the content of each of the vows.

By the vow of poverty, the members desire a simple way of life, giving witness of eternal treasures already possessed.  They hold all material goods in common and as truly poor people they shall expect to experience want and inconvenience at times and the need to work for their living.

By the vow of chastity, the members bind themselves to a life of celibate love and the observance of perfect chastity in heart and body.

 By the vow of obedience, the members shall obey the legitimate decisions which come from the Council and Chapter meetings. They shall give sisterly obedience to the moderator and those entrusted with the various duties and responsibilities in the Community.
